I first went to Ascalon to warn the Dascylus clan about the danger posed by King Hanun. To my surprise, the elder gave me a disc with the imprint of the Goddess Anat and a clay tablet with the story of Sargon.

We loaded fishing boats with belongings and rowed out, heading north. Weeks later, beyond the city of Byblos in Phoenicia, we located a flat section of beach with steep hills behind the shoreline. I built a home in the hills to hide from visitors and adopted the name Dascylus. My people constructed a fishing village near the shore, which attracted other families.

To further the Gigantos line, I fathered two sons. To one, I gave the scroll translation from the clay tablet, my scroll, the knife of Lahmi, and the disc of Anat. The other son was only told that in the past, we were giants.

And so, my story ends with the same warning with which I began: Do not tempt the fates with a desire for the physique of a giant.
